Maggie Wu is a Ph.D. student in Robotics. Her research involves lower-limb exoskeletons and developing algorithms to support fluent human-robot interaction. She obtained a B.S. in Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering at Boston University. Outside of the lab, she enjoys wheelthrowing, making ceramics, and drinking too much coffee.
Alia is a Ph.D. student in Robotics researching multi-agent systems and human-robot interaction. She obtained a B.S.E in Engineering (Robotics) at Arizona State University. Her interests include traveling, reading, weightlifting, running, and watching movies.

Penny is a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering (ME) with her research focused on the improvement of hearing aids and cochlear implants. She completed her bachelor's degree (also in ME) at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Some of her hobbies include reading, traveling, listening to classical music, watching movies/shows, and hiking.
Sara is a first-year graduate student that is pursuing dual master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering and Sustainable Systems. Her research interests include value-added products from waste streams, aviation biofuels, and topics that incorporate energy and environmental justice. She earned her B.S.Ch.E. and a minor in Political Science from the University of Idaho in May 2022. In her free time, she enjoys alpine skiing, cooking, or binging a true-crime docu-series or podcast.

Audrey-Rose Gutierrez is a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering, under the co-advisement of professors Pramod Reddy and Edgar Meyhöfer. Her research is on near-field electromagnetic field fluctuation effects in 2D material systems. Their hobbies include playing with their cat and rabbits and crocheting/knitting.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Stephanie is a PhD student at the University of Michigan | Climate and Space Sciences. Her interests include the plasma physics of the heliosphere and
solar wind coupling with planetary magnetospheres. Currently, she analyzes spacecraft data to study the mass-energy flow of Earth’s magnetosphere during space weather events. She is also
passionate about advocating for diversity in STEM, accessible science for kids, and more Latinx representation in our community.

Her research focuses on the development and application of advanced image-based analytical techniques for thoracic radiology. In her free time, Preeti loves to read books, and cook food.
